The second match of the UAE ODI tri-series is set for the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
ODI means one-day international. Each team bats once, for 50 overs.
Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh by 99 runs in the first match of the series.
At 24 for 3, Ervine scored 93 and Taylor scored 81 in a 150-run stand.
Captain Sikandar Raza took his 100th ODI wicket and earned his first win as captain.
Zimbabwe have not beaten Afghanistan in an ODI for eight years.
Rashid has taken 50 wickets against Zimbabwe at an average of 14.18.
Sediqullah Atal batted for more than eight hours to save a Test last week.
The team batting first has won seven of the last eight ODIs at this ground.
Each side faces the other two only once, so there is no second chance.
