McDonald's Boo Buckets return on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026. This year they star five Disney villains.
The five buckets show Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Scar, Maleficent, and Jafar. Each one has its own design.
Ursula is the sea witch from The Little Mermaid. Her bucket is a fan favorite already.
Cruella de Vil is the villain from 101 Dalmatians. Her black-and-white look fits Halloween well.
Scar comes from The Lion King. Maleficent comes from Sleeping Beauty. Jafar comes from Aladdin.
Every bucket has a sheet of stickers. McDonald's says each pail also has a lid that matches its villain.
You get the pail instead of a paper Happy Meal box. The food inside stays the same.
Pick a hamburger or Chicken McNuggets. Every meal also has a drink, apple slices, and fries.
The first Boo Buckets came out in 1986. This year marks 40 years of the Halloween pails.
The buckets sell only while stocks last. Prices vary by restaurant. Go early if you want the full set.
